This is a 1080 Simon & Halbig Doll shoulderhead doll that we have married to a French Leather body that has been patched in a nuber of places. We have also rubbed it thoroughly with coconut oil to condition the leather and extend the life of the doll body. She is 20 inches tall. Her coloring is beautiful and she does have a few dings and smudges in her bisque face but nothing that takes away from the beauty of the doll. Behind her left ear there seems to be a separation of sorts, but the ear is stable and we think it has been there all along. We had a bit of fun with this doll and set eyes totally inappropriate for those of you who are purists: her glass paperweight eyes are aqua blue, the same shade as her hair ribbon and the stones in her earrings. We think they look gorgeous with her black mohair curls and the hair ribbon and earrings are just the right touch! She wears an old fashioned dress that is not really old but vintage, in off white with matching half slip and pantalettes. She has on cream colored stockings and matching shoes.
