Vintage Antique Early German Candy Container Nodder Snowman Paper Mache Spring. Nice old German candy container nodder constructed of white and red venetian dew over molded cardboard. Has a spring-mounted head that nods and removable halves lined with floral patterned paper, originally made to hold candies. Authentic German candy container / nodder. Papier-mâché with textured “snowy” finish. Hand-painted details with red nose and snowy black hat. 3.5″ diameter and 7.25″ tall (see photos for scale). Interior lined with blue floral paper. Marked/stamped on inside foot (Germany). Condition: Overall very nice for age with some minor edge wear.
