Antique Rare 5 All Bisque Googly Kestner 111 Jointed Elbows-Knees
Very rare jointed all bisque Kestner #111 Googly Doll ” Washing Up”. The bisque is nicely painted with watermelon smiling mouth. Has sleep brown glass eyes, original mohair wig in very nice condition. No chips or cracks to head and body. There is flake chip to the left middle 2 fingers, no other damage. The sleep eyes still have the wax, the eyes do stick a little when open-close. I did have the doll restrung, the original had lost its elastic stretch. I see a kiln speck on her left upper arm. Sweet Googly came undressed, shows her rare jointed body. I have displayed her with her wash stand, bowl & pitcher and matching kidney stool. The wash stand is painted green wood, foiled mirror, china bowl & pitcher all look German, all unmarked. She has an old cotton cloth and towel to wash.
