Antique German Porcelain Plaque – Allegorical Nude – Signed “Sontag”. A fine hand-painted German porcelain plaque depicting a neoclassical allegorical nude, draped in soft rose fabric. The artist’s skill is evident in the lifelike skin tones, delicate shading, and expressive detail. 6″ x 4.5″ (plaque only, not including frame). Frame: housed in a later giltwood frame with blue velvet mat. With old dealer labels and inventory numbers. Condition: Very good, no chips, cracks, or repairs. Some adhesive residue on back.
