A vintage and very rare mechanical watch GLYCINE from Germany, that was produced in 1940s. The watch has a small black dial that was very typical for a military style of 1940s. Such watches were supplied to the German army and were one of the most coveted trophies for the Red Army. On the caseback there’s a number, that means the watch was intended for ground forces. At 6 o’clock there’s a separate seconds hand. For its age (near 80 years old) the watch is in great condition. The mechanism was tested – it runs well and keeps time accurately. There are some scratches on the case and its backside, the crown is scuffed. The hands were taken from another watch. The glass is missed. For more accurate details look at the photos.
