Vintage 1930s 1940s German Edelweiss Dress Alpine Flower WWII Austrian 28 waist
Vintage late 1930s / early 1940s German edelweiss and alpine flower dress. MEASUREMENTS (approximate) : Bust – 38″ Waist – 28″ Hips – 42″ Length – 40″ Sleeve (shoulder seam to end of cuff) – 23″ Neck – 14″ Cuff (when snapped) – 7. May be handmade, but it is done very well. The buttons on the end of the sleeve are horn and the buttons on the front are steinnuss. The buttons are just decorative, it actually closes with snaps and a hook and eye at the neck. Side metal zipper marked Ruhr. Overall fairly good condition. There are several pulls and snags in the material. Wear under one arm. The hem is a little crooked – it looks like it was taken up and then taken back down. See photos for condition. While I would never list an item I find to have an offensive odor, I cannot ensure buyers (especially those very sensitive to odors) will feel the same as smell is subjective.
