7 Antique German Bisque Head Doll With Trunk & Wardrobe
Antique German doll with trunk and wardrobe. She is marked “Germany 12″. The doll has a bisque head with side glancing glass eyes, wig with cork pate, and a composition jointed body. The trunk is antique with a wood base, printed covered paper on the outside, leather straps, brass and silver plated fittings, original key, and cloth lining inside the trunk. The doll has a wardrobe consisting of three cotton dresses, knit stockings, antique shoes, socks, and an all-in-one piece chemise under garment. In the trunk was a hand written note “Elise, Switzerland, 1900″. The doll is 7 tall. Condition: I found no damage to the bisque head or clothing. The trunk is also in very good condition except for some water marks on the outside bottom of the trunk (see photo). From a smoke free environmen.
