Vintage Junghans J88 German Chronograph
Vintage Junghans Chronograph J88. Currently in good running condition, but I have not tested the watch for accuracy. The winding is smooth. The chronograph function is working well. The start/stop button is crisp. When resetting, the center second hand will slowly return instead of jumping back, but it will reset to zero. The service history of this chronograph is unkown, so I recommend servicing the watch for accurate time keeping and chronograph function. The acrylic crystal has some scratches. The dial and hands are in nice condition. The edge of bezel has some wear and in some places you can see brass under the nickle plating. The marks on the bezel are clear and visible and the bezel turns freely. The case back has many scratches but the inscription is still visible. The movement is gold plated and clean. The watch is in overall good condition and in my opinion it ages well after more than half century. Please let me know if you want to see additional photos or have any questions.
