Antique German Mechanical Caged Songbird
1920s Antique mechanical decorative songbird accent piece. Maya Angelou may have thought she knew why the caged bird sings, but we have the real answer: because it’s operated by a brass turn key. This piece features a painted base with floral embellishments and a small oval scene that appears to depict a romantic Victorian scene. Exhibits minor signs of wear including crazing on painted portions.
