Antique 1800s German Erzgebirge Noah’s Ark 22 piece hand-painted set
Charming and timeworn, this original 19th – century German set from the Erzgebirge region includes 22 hand carved and painted wooden figures. You will get four people and 18 animals, including dog, horse, pig, cow, birds, and more. The painted wooden vessel measures 8 inches long and features an off-white body with a red roof, stenciled windows, a light blue perimeter stripe, and dark blue swag detailing near the roof line. One roof panel is missing, with remnants of the original cloth hinges is still visible. Five animals show damage such as a missing limb or broken part.
