Antique 1920s handcrafted German wooden doll by Anna Fehrle with cloth jointed body and original clothing. Description: Carved wooden domed head with oval pear-shaped face, socket neck, sculoted snort orown nair toreock deninitions, small painted olue eyes with white eye dots, black upper eyeliner and tiny lashes, delicate brows, tiny pointed nose. Closed mout win tul los. Disci jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent overall (with the exception of some mothball scent from storage) Comments: Artist Anna Fehrle, circa 1920s. This doll Is wearing original traditional costume with beading on vest and richly-beaded coiffe. Original metal wrist tag intact.
