Very pretty child-size German bisque head KAMMER REINHARDT doll this girl measures just a touch over 31 tall. Incised on back of her head is K STAR R. She is an early unmarked doll by Kammer Reinhardt and of the lovely mold #192. This one is exceptionally stunning with a beguiling child’s face and huge brown sleep eyes. Eyelids retain their original wax. There’s a small ding on the rim. She has pierced ears and is missing one small “gold” earring. She has a replaced pate and wears a nice antique wavy human hair wig… Done up in sausage curls. She has a sweet face with raised brush-stroked eyebrows and big brown glass sleep eyes which work fine. Her bisque coloring is superb… With full rosy cheeks and glossy rosebud lips surrounding upper teeth and a tongue. She’s one of the prettiest 192 molds I’ve run across. Her wooden composite jointed body shows some wear and minor touch up. To be expected for a body being over 100 years old or so… Please be sure to supersize the photos to assess her condition better. She has been newly strung and she holds a pose nicely. She wears an antique white little girl’s Edwardian cotton dress, a lovely vintage-style doll bonnet, vintage socks and vintage baby shoes. Her dress is very detailed with a shoulder yoke and finely stitched embellishments… A beautiful early dress that has some wear but does look great on her with her brunette coloring. She comes form my non smoking home where she was kept clean in my doll room.
