Antique Black Forest German hand carved BEAR sewing caddy spool pin cushion wood
Wonderful sewing caddy from Black Forest region of Germany. Hand carved wood of a bear with little black eyes. He totes a “ladder” of spools and a pin cushion on his back. In wonderful condition – he would have had a cloth strap but someone replaced it with a rubber band many years ago. The 3 spools of thread are antique too “Diamond Silk Twist”. This was wrapped and stored away in an old trunk for most of it’s life – very, very nice condition. Just found in the estate. I want you to see all sides!
