This is a beautiful Kestner 171 antique doll in the large 28 size. She is a socket head bisque head doll in a composition articulated body that is nicely strung. She has the attractive 171 face with a longer thinner face than other Kestner dolls with a more open mouth with curved upper lip. She has a beautiful human hair long ash blonde wig in good condition. She has probably been redressed in a lacy outfit that looks to be made with antique fabrics and trims. Nice slip and pantaloons. Her brown leather shoes look original. Her body is in very good condition. There may be a professional repair to one finger. No cracks on her pretty bisque head. Nice brown glass sleep eyes. She comes with her good metal stand shown.
