GRAIN SACK German printed black writing Grainsack RARE hemp linen textile heavy
Hello and thank you for looking. An amazing piece of history! This gorgeous textile is from my private collection and is the second oldest of these textiles I’ve ever had the privilege of finding. I used to deal in these wonderful textiles, and I have a small collection which I kept this sack is a very heavy twill weave hemp, with gorgeous putty tone. Very heavy weight indeed! This sack is extremely durable and would make amazing upholstery fabric. Ideal for armchair, pillows etc (sack 19). MEASUREMENTS : This sack measures approximately : 60 inches long by 25 inches wide (of course it is twice the length as it has both sides). CONDITION: This sack is in as found, not freshly laundered condition with light storage dust and other signs of time and use. Please use the zoom feature to view condition carefully.
