This is an extremely rare Museum Quality Santa in his Sleigh pulled by 7 reindeer. The rare miniature santa is an original early santa by Hertwig of Germany. Santa is bisque and is fully jointed with his original costume. He sits on his original metal gilded sleigh. He has his reigns and there are 7 miniaiture metal reindeer with their red paper harnesses. A few of the reindeer are still attached to the reigns. One reindeer’s antlers are broken. This is a rare book piece which we have never seen before in its complete form. Santa is 1.75 inches (45mm) tall. The sleigh is 2 1/4 inches long. The reindeer are 1 3/4 inches tall.
