12 BRU Face GERMAN Antique Doll on BRU BODY
Antique doll Bru type face German doll head with bru style body. I have been advised by an antique doll dealer and judge of Belton types that she is a Belton type, a German copy of a french doll. She also advised that this doll’s body is antique but not original to this head. Reproduction lower Bru arms. Tip of Right ring finger is missing. The left arm measures about 1/2 of an inch shorter than the right from shoulder to tip of fingers. The upper arm circumference at the fattest area also differ by 1/8 of an inch. Please note all the stains and marks on the body. She has ear chips by her right earring. Missing paint on her right cheek. There appears to be a hairline on her forehead (upper center) Her eyes appear to be Blue glass paperweight. I’m not sure if her wig is antique. It might be a size 7/8 but her head circumference is approximately 6.75. She does not have a pate except for a cardboard like cover. Approximately 12 inches before wig. I’ve priced her at a fraction of what others want for a similar doll. I would entertain reasonable offers. See separate listing to see photos. Thank you and have a great day!
