13 GERMAN BISQUE CHARACTER, 6970, BY GEBRUDER HEUBACH Pink tinted bisque socket head, tiny blue glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, fringed brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, double chin and plump blushed cheeks, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent; Left hand 2 chipped fingers (See photos). Marks: Back of head/neck; 6970 35 3 1/2 Germany. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1915. Rare model with wonderfully detailed wistful expression, lovely bisque, ALL-ORIGINAL wig and antique costume.
