17 Beautiful Antique German Bisque Doll Heinrich Handwerck With Marked Body
Beautiful Antique Heinrich Handwerck doll with marked body. She is 17 inches tall with a nice bisque head (some wig pulls and glue residue on head rim). She has a gorgeous face with wonderful coloring and expertly painted facial features. She has lovely blue sleep eyes that work well, an open mouth with 4 upper teeth, pierce ears. Her body is in beautiful condition with its original finish and all of her fingers and toes are accounted for (with small paint peel on foot). There is light wear to the surface and at the joints. She is wearing an antique human hair wig (no pate) and comes dressed as found slip, one piece under garment and socks (socks have a few holes). Stringing is good for her age, and she can hold a pose. Her head is incised Germany Heinrich Handwerck Halbig with the number 1 at the bottom. Her body is stamped in red letters in a foreign language. Not sure what it says.
