Gorgeous Antique German Bisque Simon & Halbig Doll, 22, Unusual Marks. The doll is only marked 1079 Germany 10 1/2. But we all know she was made by Simon & Halbig. The doll has a perfect bisque socket head with no chip or cracks. She has molded feathered eyebrows and BIG blue sleep eyes, with painted upper and lower lashes. Her ears are pierced through the earlobes. She has shaded pale lips and four upper teeth. Her wig and pate appear to be replaced. The doll has a ball jointed composition and wood body in excellent condition. The doll is nicely dressed in antique clothing. Her clothing is worn and has some repairs. She was definitely played with! She has antique bloomers (have repairs and a small tear), and antique slip that has a thready waistband, (If I have time will put a new waistband on). She has antique black stockings and antique shoes, which her little owner decided to paint gold. She has a lovely, very detailed antique blouse, and a fancy antique pinafore type dress in pale pink. She has antique earrings and a lace hair bow. Her stringing is a little loose but she does hold a pose. Please feel free to ask any questions.
