Antique German Bisque Head Doll 28 ABG 1362 My Girlie
This is a pretty antique German bisque head doll on composition jointed body. This Alt, Beck, Gottschalck is marked ABG 1362 Made in Germany 4 1/2 14, also known as ” My Girlie “. She stands at 28 tall. She has a nice long brown human hair wig with bangs and a pate. Blue sleepy eyes with upper and lower painted lashes and feathered brows. She also retains some hair eyelashes. Pierced ears She has a sweet face with an open mouth and top teeth. She is on a nice sturdy jointed body that retains most of it’s finish. Looks like a crier body as it has a cut-out on front of the body and a small hole on the back (crier does not work). She is wearing undergarments and a pretty hand made dress with matching bonnet, socks and shoes. Clothing has been washed. Head is in good condition, no cracks. Body good minor wear consistent with age. One eyelid has some missing paint, right cheek has some light scratches- please see pictures.
