Antique Francois Gaultier F. G. Scroll French Fashion Doll Kid Body Bisque Arms
This is a beautiful 11 inch French fashion doll made by Francois Gaultier. She has a bisque head, bisque lower arms and a kid body. The doll is marked on the shoulder plate with a scroll and the letters F. She is dressed in her original outfit consisting of a burgundy velvet jacket and a silk skirt which has faded over time to a light tan and has several splits. The skirt is decorated with lace and velvet rosettes. There is a tiny enameled pin at her neck. She has a slip and pantaloons along with knitted socks and green felt shoes. The straw hat is antique but is not original to her. She has blue set eyes and a closed mouth. Ody is in excellent condition. She has her original cork pate and brown mohair wig which has a braided bun. There are no chips, cracks or repairs to the bisque head or lower arms. The stand is included.
