Antique German 12.5 Gebruder Heubach Pouty Boy Doll Bisque Head Character
Little Gebruder Heubach Pouty Boy. This little guy has so much character, I love him as he is. Antique character boy doll with composition flange head (this type of head is secured at the neck area with twine or wire), he needs his head tightened up just a bit, he has a hard cloth straw stuffed body that is metal clip jointed at the shoulders and hips. He has early rounded hands, see photos. His legs have printed cloth stripe stockings and black cloth shoes that are part of the legs. Reference shows similar dolls made in 1880s through 1915. This is an antique pre-owned doll, you will see overall wear and paint loss, small rip on the toe of his left shoe where you can see he is straw stuffed.
