Up for offer is a unique antique 800 silver with rose gold detail German engraved medallion pendant necklace. The pendant has been fashioned from an antique pocket watch cover. It depicts an imperalist scene of a warrior, spiked club raised, ready to strike down the two men who lay at his feet. The style is reminiscent of the American “Manifest Destiny” like depictions which were popular during the US expansion into the west. This piece features a sterling snake chain with a lobster claw clasp. The chain is not original to the pendant. This piece also features several hallmarks which are as listed. A Bird (Pheasant or Peacock). A crescent moon next to a crown (German). NG (the letters overlap). Necklace Length: 16 inches. Pendant Diameter: 1.75 inches.
