Antique Early Pouty Kestner All Bisque Doll. This sweet little doll is just 5 ½ tall without her wig. She is marked 0 on her head and torso. She has a swivel neck with jointed shoulders and hips with the elastic pulled though and tied. Her stringing is a little loose, so she could easily be pegged properly, which I will leave to her new owner. She has a chubby round face with tiny blue sleep eyes, multistroked eyebrows, long painted eyelashes,, and a closed pouty mouth with red lip line. She has rosy cheeks and lumpy ears. Her blonde mohair wig is nice and full with center part and curls in back. There is a plaster pate glued to her wig. Her crocheted ecru dress is newer, but her blouse and hat appear antique and original and have some discoloration. As for her overall condition — her legs are antique and fit properly, but they may be replacements, as this model usually has bare feet or black multistrap boots. However, her yellow boots are spectacular with black side inserts, toe tips and heels with white hose and blue garters. There is a tiny flake on the neck of her front torso and another on the back torso with a swirling line coming down from it, maybe a firing crack. She displays very well and is a nice size for creating a room box scene. A darllng girl, a very sought-after model by a prestigious maker! Thank you for looking at my items.
