The back of the coin features the image of the crowned imperial eagle and the inscription “Deutsches Reich 1906 Zwei Mark”. The coin is held within a sterling silver frame and will need a bale attached in order to be worn. Damage: Age appropriate wear. Tarnish on the sterling silver gives this piece an antique quality which we believe is quite lovely. Originally this piece was a pin brooch; however, the pin stem was removed and there is a remnant of the “c” clasp still attached to the back of the coin.
