Antique Vtg 1800’s Cast Iron Table Top Hand Crank Sewing Machine German Works EX
Sewing machine is in excellent condition. Hand crank manual sewing machine, not a toy. Made in Germany in the late 1800’s. Sewing plate is stamped original & maschine, no other markings that I can see. The large footed base is removable, there may be a name under the small base. Good working order, runs smooth. See the last two photos of sewing I did with this machine, photo #11 is the top and #12 is the bottom. Needle and wood spool included. This machine was brought back from Haiti, where it was used by adults who didn’t have electricity, by US missionaries. Well built heavy cast iron. Black with gold trim. No cracks on wood handle.
