With this beautiful bar pin, I can say definitely that it was made in Germany no later than 1931, six years after the famous Paris Deco Expo that gave birth to an entire movement in the arts. On the back, it is inscribed “Diana 24 Januar 1931″. It bears a hallmark of an infinity sign (8). The pin is made of precious solid 14 karat yellow gold (marked and tested) and measures 2 1/8 inches across. It has beautiful hand-chased designs. It is 3/16 of an inch wide and the mechanism is equipped with a locking safety device. It weighs 1.8 grams.
