EARLY GERMAN / AUSTRIAN 812 SOLID SILVER BEAKER CUP c1840 BARWARE ANTIQUE 58g
A beautiful rare German / Austrian solid silver beaker cup. It is hallmarked with the German 13 lot mark for 812 standard along with a makers mark DF. I would date it to c1840s. It has been well made and has been engraved with entwined initials. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs, just the odd tiny mark. It measures over 3 inches (7.8cm) tall by over 2.5 inches (6.7cm) across the rim and 2 inches (5.1cm) across the base and it weighs 58 grams. A nice quality rare piece.
