15 6 1303 DEP S & H Male adult character doll with stationary blue eyes, closed mouth, pierced ears, short brown mohair wig, cork pate. Papier mache ball jointed body. Dressed in fancy blue velvet coat trimmed with metallic soutache, lace front panel. Newer brown velveteen pants, black velvet hat. Reproduction brown leather shoes marked: PARIS (bee symbol) DEPOSE. Condition: nothing observed on bisque after careful examination. Lining/coat have some age loss. (This doll was pictured in Jan Foulke’s “Guide To Dolls”).
