Here is a wonderful, antique bisque shoulderhead, c. 1910, GIBSON GIRL lady doll with original lovely, brown glass, sleep eyes, finely painted upper and lower lashes and exquisitely shaped, closed mouth with upturned chin, perfect blush and coloring, molded hollow at the base of her neck, multi-stroke soft brown eyebrows and long slender nose. She is incised 172. 6/o Made in Germany with antique cloth, lady-like body and bisque lower limbs and is the smallest size we’ve owned. She has wonderful antique bisque, ribbed stockings with blue garters and heeled boots with four straps and tan soles. Her head circumference is 4″ around (rim) and the shoulder plate measures 1 1/4″ across at the base and 1 3/4 across her shoulders. She is in excellent condition with no damages, chips or hairlines, no stains or repairs and no odors as she is from a smoke free home. What an outstanding doll she will make when dressed!
