Large Beautiful Antique Simon & Halbig 886 All Bisque Doll 8 IN
This is one of the largest of the all bisques made by Simon Halbig. She has sleep eyes, an open mouth with 4 tiny teeth, beautiful bisque without damage of any kind, and those wonderful long black stockings. She has a swivel neck and is pin jointed at arms and legs. She’s dressed in a pretty dress of sheer cotton with lots of embroidery, and underneath a matching set of pantaloons and slip, factory made. Her brown human hair replaced wig just matches her eyebrows. On the minus side, her arms don’t match, the tops are different but both look to be antique. She also had a repair to a foot that is basically unnoticeable. And, her eyes were reset and don’t sleep too well.
