Here we have a very, very rare vintage (circa 1970s-80s) 6 Koestel wax figurine ornament from their Folkloric line, a big-eyed (for Koestel wax figurines, anyway) child (could be girl or boy) clown. They are dressed in a gold brocade tunic over light green velvet pants and a clown hat with a green ball at the end. They hold several stems of gold flowers, and have green wax feet — quite unusual to have wax parts in any color other than creamy white. Please see photos with rulers. Condition : Our photographs reveal the condition best — please enlarge and zoom in on them, and examine them carefully. Minty — very clean and very fresh with no signs of use. Hard to believe for an unboxed 40-50 year-old item, but true. No soiling or aging of any of the materials. Beautiful, quality piece for your collection.
