Antique German/Victorian/Grunderzeit Mixed Media Xmas Ornament Mandolin 1900’s
Antique German Victorian/Gründerzeit mixed-media Christmas tree ornament in the form of a mandolin or lute. I’ve researched this particular piece and I would describe it as having. Painted metal/wire framework, textile or gauze covering, silk/rayon embroidery or passementerie flowers, and imitation pearl beads and applied decorative composition/paper or molded elements.
