The thermometer is the spirit (or alcohol) type & does NOT contain mercury The barometer face is marked ORIGINAL GERMAN AEROPLANE PROPELLER The barometer no longer works and needs attention. It is a very nice antique German propeller tip, and would make a fabulous display piece, and be a great addition to any collection.
