16.5 Antique German China Head Doll Conta & Boehme Flat Top Early 1860s
Early 1860s Conta & Boehme 16.5 flat top china head doll with sweet serene face. There is a tiny rough spot on tip of nose. She is on a vintage hard stuffed body with porcelain lower arms which appears to be painted. Her head dies have a pinky hue and maybe arms looked to white? She is wearing old handmade clothing which includes a ballgown, petticoat and bloomers. I have included a photo of her from one of my favorite china doll resource book.
