20 Early Kestner 128 Antique German Bisque Closed Mouth doll
Offered for sale is an early J. Kestner Doll with a closed mouth. It is 20 inches tall on a fully jointed early kestner body. The doll has sleeping brown eyes. The doll is marked. It has a repaired eye chip on the lower left side. The body has the original paint and varnish. It has wear on the hands and joints. The front of the right foot has been reglued and there is some missing papier mache on the inside of the foot. The doll is dressed in an undershirt, a dress, a jacket, a hat decorated with flowers, stockings and shoes made of genuine leather. The doll has a beautiful mohair wig.
