22 Antique German Bisque Head Doll Marked B 3 Wood Jointed Body Nice Clothing
Listed is a lovely 22 antique Victorian era doll, made circa 1900 or earlier. The doll measures 22 and has a perfect bisque socket head that is marked, Made in Germany & B 3. The B may stand for Bergmann? This doll is in very nice original condition, with a solid jointed wood body that is tightly strung with excellent finish/coloring. (missing one finger on her right hand, see pic) otherwise perfect. She has especially nice facial features and coloring. I believe her wig is original and made of natural human hair that is long with ringlet curls around her face. The wig is full and clean with no thin spots. Her blue eyes open/close with natural lashes. She is wearing very nice vintage outfit consisting of a lovely white cotton dress with lace trim, chemise and half slip. In addition she is wearing vintage knit stockings and good quality shoes with real leather soles. I especially like her hand crocheted cape with blue ribbons and original fastener. Her clothing has no damage and is clean with no odors.
