27 Antique German Kestner Bisque Doll Sleep eyes, Original Ball Jointed Body
Gorgeous German bisque head Kestner doll – no mold number, has a well-known look of mold 146. She is 27 tall, excellent condition bisque head with beautiful pale color. She has all typical typical features of famous Kestner dolls: thickly painted eyebrows, full cheeks and a pleasant mouth with upturned corners. Her mouth is barely open to show four beautiful upper teeth. She has blue sleeping eyes with painted upper and lower lashes, waxed lids. NO cracks, chips or hairlines (lighted to check for hairlines). Back of her bisque head incised. L ½ Made in 15 ½. Beautiful bisque, nicely blended rose petal blush cheeks, cute double chin, nice nose with red accents. Her bisque is in excellent condition, without cracks, chips, nor hairlines. She has a vintage human hair wig with hairpins. High quality ball jointed wood/composition body, stamped in red Excelsior D. The body has original paint and finish with typical wears at joints, please review all pictures. The body considered in good condition for the age. She is dressed in a lovely vintage cotton dress and 2-piece undies. She has beautiful shoes, stamped 6. The shoes could be antique, in very good condition. Vintage black socks have holes.
