From my personal collection. One of the prettiest antique shoulder head Santa dolls I have ever seen. This lovely 22 antique young lady doll was made in Germany by Simon and Halbig about 1910. She is beautifully redressed for a VERY special occasion. Exquisitely painted with lovely bisque and coloring. She has that lower lip that makes Santa dolls so special. Her head has no chips, flakes or cracks (just stray hairs in photo and paint skips/rubs at rim). Her clothes are made from a fabulous antique satin ball gown (I love the hand stitched detail). The antique lace bib is exquisite (and left complete with extra in the back). Be sure to look at all the photos since they are part of the description. Breakable items will be carefully packed. I will do my best to answer questions. From non-smoking, animal free home. Her well-made ice green two-piece dress is gorgeous. Satin fabric came from the skirt of an antique ball gown and has lots of original tucks and rucking. The antique lace trim is exquisite (it was left completely original with extra lace under her hair). Petticoat and drawers were made from antique cottons and eyelet laces. Camisole was made from fine antique cotton and lace trim. Stockings are antique off-white net. Real leather boots with heels are vintage. Completing her outfit is an antique cameo necklace, delicate earrings and a vintage straw hat with pale violet flowers and beautiful antique silk ice green bow. She carries a vintage basket with a flower in it. All are perfect for her coloring. Camisole has rust stain from stand. There are pale rust colored stains on left side of skirt (not noticeable unless looking at her from side). If you need additional information or pictures, please let me know. Good quality riveted kid leather body and stitched toes. Pins at hips, knees, shoulders and elbows. Pins at shoulder and hips look like replacement buttons. Some soil typical of these old bodies. No damage to bisque hands. Gorgeous bisque and coloring. Beautiful outlined, open mouth with lower lip accent that makes a Santa a Santa and 4 teeth. Grey-green stationary eyes (replacements) with fine black upper and lower painted lashes. Multi-stroke raised brows are the right color for her hair. Red dots in nostrils. Pierced ears with delicate pearl and glass bead earrings. Some paint misses or rubs near rim of head. Dark honey blonde human hair wig (replacement).
