Offered is this delightful large 25 German doll with head made by the Simon Halbig firm for the George Borgfeldt firm. She is a very pretty doll and dressed in a great antique dress with loads of pleats, net lace and embroidery. The bisque head is without damage, including hairlines. There is a manufacturing color flaw on the forehead as well as a paint flaw line on the forehead. You can see this in the pictures. The line is barely seen. She has her original brown blown glass sleep eyes (there is a tad of wax on one eye, I have removed that). Finely painted eyelashes surround her eyes. Open mouth with four upper teeth. Nice blushing without rubs. Her wig is antique human hair and has nice curls. The composition body retains the original finish. It is in good antique condition with some wear on the right hip joint and right arm shoulder joint. All fingers are present. She is dressed nicely in antique pantaloons, undershirt and slip. A gorgeous antique white dress loaded with detail! Vintage socks and shoes. Vintage hat completes her look! International Buyers are responsible for custom charges.
