This is a beautiful tall girl a 29 Simon & Halbig antique bisque shoulder head doll. The head really is gorgeous and in very good condition. Her eyes open and close properly. She has all of her fingers. She is dressed in all vintage clothing…. Appears to be original. Her ears are pierced, and she is wearing earrings. The leather body is mostly in good condition, with a bandage on one arm near the elbow. This doll belonged to my mother and has a tag on her wrist from when she bought it originally at an antique store in the NC mountains… Identifying it as a 1010 Simon & Halbig doll. I did not find the marking on the doll, but did find a number inside the head that looked like it may be it, as can be seen in the last picture. You will have to zoom in, and it is a little cut off. I did read that it is common for the number to be under the leather on the back. The wig may need a little care. This doll is part of my mother’s estate… A serious doll collector who recently passed away, and unfortunately I do not have her to consult. I described it to the best of my ability.
