Antique German bisque doll by Armand Marseille. Measures approximately 18 1/2 inches tall. Bisque socket head is incised with: Made in Germany, Armand Marseille, 390n, DRGM 246, A 2 1/2 M. She has glass sleep eyes, open mouth with three upper teeth. Painted brows and lashes. Wood and composition ball jointed body. She is wearing a vintage cotton eyelet petticoat and a vintage cotton onesie undergarment, vintage cotton socks and replacement shoes. (only) Very sweet doll who needs someone to give her a little love and attention. This was a popular doll during the late 19th and early 20th century. No hairlines, chip on the inner wig rim, paint misses and rubs, heavy glue, pate and wig residue, missing an upper tooth, eyelid wax has missing areas, Body has paint wear especially on one leg, finger restoration on both hands, strung well, clothing overall good but socks have age discoloration and onesie has been cut down the center at the back. Bisque needs cleaning from longtime storage, odor free, smoke free business, No other clothing than shown, no wig or pate, no other accessories unless shown or described.
