Antique bisque head doll marked Made in Germany 63. Approximately 24 inches tall. Bisque head with brown glass sleep eyes. Painted upper and lower lashes. Additional applied fur lashes present, with some thinning and gaps. Open mouth with upper row of teeth. Antique mohair wig styled in sausage curls. Wood and composition ball jointed body. Body is tightly strung and holds most poses. Wearing a finely made modern outfit consisting of a blue silk dress with inset lace panels and decorative knit-covered buttons. Includes silk slip and silk bloomers. Lace socks and leather shoes. Clothing is modern but very well made and carefully styled. General age-related wear consistent with an antique doll.
