He is one of those Heubach dolls which does not have a mold mark. His head mark is “7 – Made in Germany”. He has wonderful intaglio eyes. The head’s molding has extraordinary and has amazing realism. There are no hairlines, chips, or blemishes in the bisque. His mouth is open/closed. Don’t you just love that curled lock of hair on his forehead? He has bisque forearms/hands and a leather jointed body. He is a perfect example of this era of German Character doll making. This is a wonderful antique character doll.
