Large German bisque head doll by Max Handwerck…. 1900….24 1/2 tall…. HEAD: Bisque head is excellent with no damage or repairs…. A few very faint, very small grey dots on the lower part of one cheek and the neck below, which are minor firing marks from the original manufacture (10th and 11th photos)…. Sleep eyes retain good original eyelid wax and eyelashes…. After I took these photos, I found the original wooden neck plug to attach/string the head to the body (will be included)…. BODY: Body is in very good/excellent original condition with original paint and shellac…. Some composition loss to the lower joint of one arm, exposing the wood beneath (16th photo)…. Pinky finger on one hand has some loss to the composition, however is mostly intact (last two photos)…. Stringing is original and loose and one leg is disconnected, as shown in the photos….
