Rare Antique German Kestner 17.5 Bisque Baby Jean Doll Hilda’s Fat Cheek Sister
The doll is in good condition for its age and it needs a little cleaning. It is marked with the following on the back of the neck: J. Made in 13 Germany. Head – Solid Dome. Painted blonde hair and it is good shape. No cracks or chips. Eyes – Blue glass sleep eyes that work well. Painted eyebrows and eyelashes. Mouth – Open mouth displaying four teeth. One has a mark on it. Fat cheeks and the make up is in good shape. Body – original and marked on the back “Made in Germany” in red ink. There are some minor cracks in the paint and chips. Hands – The right hand has a chip on one finger and the tip of another broke off. Some minor paint wear on the tips of the fingers. Feet – No broken toes. Joints to include the neck: – They are tight and in good working order. The doll is 17.5 tall. From a smoke free home.
