By Simon and Halbig. Back of the head is marked S& H 1249, D. Germany Santa, 7 1/2. Is 21 inches tall. Bisque head and composition body. Beautiful working blue sleep eyes. Parted lips with teeth. Pierced ears with earrings. Possible chip in the crown of the head, possibly happened during production. No hairlines or cracks when inspected with a flashlight. A little “rough spot” in the finish near the crown of the head, likely to have been a production issue like kiln dust, completely covered by the wig. A bit of uneven color on the forehead (covered by wig). The compo body has the normal chips, scratches, discoloration for an item with this age. I do not believe it has been repainted, but it is often hard to tell, if a repainted body a deal breaker for you, please know that I never guarantee that there has been repainting as I believe it is sometimes impossible to tell! There are a couple of black marks on the leg and arm, perhaps paint. I have no clue if the body is original to the head, they appear to fit well together. Pretty cotton dress is likely modern, probably Gabriella Couture. Dress has some light staining (like foxing) , most noticeably on one shoulder. Nice silky undergarment dress. Cotton pantaloons, missing 1 button, little tear, staining. I believe the wig is more modern, there is no pate. She comes from a smoke free environment!
